The J&M way
Your property is the starting point.
No two properties ask the same things of a fence. A sloped backyard, a field edge, a coastal entrance, and a commercial lot each need a different plan.
We start on site, looking at terrain, soil, drainage, intended use, and access. Those details guide the materials and installation, before work begins.
Clear expectations from day one.
You’ll receive a written estimate that breaks down the project. We discuss materials, labor, site preparation, and timing so you can make an informed decision.
If the ground or the project presents a challenge, you’ll hear about it directly. Communication is part of the work.
More materials. More ways to make it fit.
Along with wood, vinyl, chain link, and ornamental metal, composite options can be discussed for suitable projects. We also handle custom gate fabrication, including hardware selected for residential, agricultural, and commercial uses.
Local knowledge, practical decisions.
Maine’s seasonal ground movement, wet springs, and coastal exposure affect how outdoor structures perform. We account for local conditions and match the approach to the property.
A strong foundation. A practical repair.
Our installation approach uses posts driven four feet into the ground to create a stable foundation. Individual sections are designed to be easier to repair if damage occurs. We discuss the installation method and site conditions during your walkthrough.
